Let me “bring your music from within” using my extensive experience in Americana, classical, country, jazz, gospel, and folk violin playing to students young and old.
We will explore how to master violin technique, while allowing you to express your individual style of music. With the introduction of genre specific violin pieces, etudes, and exercises, your skills will emerge facilitating the musical maturation of your mental, physical, and emotional abilities.
As a partnership we will develop a personal study plan that incorporates learning through listening, demonstration, and performance. We will combine resources from the internet, written, and audio music in unique and creative ways for today’s student. For younger folks, the parents are encouraged to be actively involved in the learning process.
Lessons are held in my professional violin studio in Menlo Park, where I can record performances, and you can hear your playing and proficiency develop over time.
